Accommodation at LSI London Hampstead
Accommodation for this programme is available on a Sunday to Sunday basis only (i.e. arriving on Sunday and leaving on Sunday.)
Both homestay and residential accommodation are available at LSI London Hampstead.
Homestay
Students may opt to stay in locally situated homestay families, single or twin room, full board. Breakfast, packed lunch and evening meals are provided. Our carefully selected host families are caring and friendly and offer comfortable surroundings in which students can experience real English family life and culture. Many of our LSI students enjoy the homestay experience so much that they keep in contact with our host families for years afterwards..
Residences
This kind of accommodation is only available to accompanied individuals students or groups of Young Learners. This is a popular option, so it is best to book early if your group prefers to stay in one location. The residence is conveniently located just 15 minutes' walk from the school.
Travelling between accommodation and school
On arrival in London, we suggest that the student books an LSI taxi to ensure their safe transfer to their accommodation.
Our homestays and residences for Young Learners are an easy commute from the school. Between 2 and 4 students will be placed in each of our families so that they can travel together. On their first day, their family will give them full information on how to reach the school.
Please note that (particularly with younger and/or low level students) we may, where appropriate, place students of the same nationality in one homestay. At school and during leisure activities, they will be in a strictly English only environment, but it is our experience that younger students or those who have little experience of being away from home, adapt more easily to life in London if they have someone they are able to communicate with fully. This helps them relax, which in turn reduces the likelihood of homesickness and increases their enjoyment and concentration in the classroom.
