Frankfurt
Frankfurt is at the centre of Germany, and is the financial capital of Europe, home to the Headquarters of the European Central Bank. It is a truly multicultural city, with 180 different nationalities represented. The impressive Skyline is referred to as "Mainhatten". It is also a cultural centre, with a great many museums and galleries, and was home to famous writers including Goethe. The castles and wineries of the Rhine Valley, Heidelberg Castle, the baroque residence in Würzburg and the famous Hofbräuhaus in Munich are all within easy reach of the city. Experience the contrast between High Tech and traditional styles in this interesting and diverse city.
The School
LSI Frankfurt is situated in the heart of the city, within easy reach of famous landmarks, excellent shops, and public transport links. Also near at hand are a number of restaurants and traditional bars ( see map of school location ).
The school boasts facilities including a computer room with free internet access, a recreation area and a kitchen. General and Examination Courses
Standard 20
A course with 20 lessons per week, covering all aspects of the language from pronunciation to grammar and vocabulary to practice in the four skills.
Intensive 30
Suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students follow a Standard 20 course in the morning, then intensify and consolidate the tuition in the afternoon classes.

Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD)
For enrolment at a German university or a polytechnic, or as proof of German for professional reasons, this well-known certificate is accepted almost universally. The LSI course carefully prepares you for the examination and improves all areas of your German. The entry requirement for the course is school level German.
