Frankfurt is at the centre of Germany , and is the financial capital of Europe , home to the Headquarters of the European Central Bank. It is a truly multicultural city, with 180 different nationalities represented. The impressive Skyline is referred to as “Mainhatten”. It is also a cultural centre, with a great number of museums and galleries, and was home to famous writers including Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The castles and wineries of the Rhine Valley, Heidelberg Castle, the baroque residence in Würzburg and the famous Hofbräuhaus in Munich are all within easy reach of the city.
