Frequently Asked Questions

Brighton is an excellent place to learn English with a welcoming, inclusive, international atmosphere. The city’s friendly locals, clear British accents, and lively cultural scene give students plenty of opportunities to practise English in real-life situations while enjoying life by the sea.

Brighton offers a wide range of activities, from relaxing on the beach and visiting Brighton Pier to exploring The Lanes, cafes, museums and cultural events. LSI Brighton also organises regular social activities and excursions to help students practise English and make friends.

Brighton enjoys one of the mildest climates in the UK, thanks to its locations on England's south coast. Summers are generally warm and pleasant, while winters are relatively mild, allowing students to enjoy outdoor activities throughout much of the year.

LSI Brighton provides a supportive learning environment with experienced teachers, modern facilities and students from around the world. Whether you choose General English or Intensive English language courses, lessons are designed to build confidence and improve communication skills.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the length on your English course. Many students can study in the UK with a visitor or student visa, while others may not require one. We recommend checking the latest UK immigration requirements before booking your course.
