English for Public Speaking
Enhance your communication skills with LSI’s English for Public Speaking & Presentations course.
Throughout this programme, students learn to plan, structure, and deliver successful presentations in English. This dynamic course is designed to help international students and professionals improve their public speaking skills in English. They gain confidence, become more articulate, and improve their pronunciation. You will gain the tools to become more articulate, expressive, and persuasive in front of any audience.
Through a combination of interactive activities and practice sessions, students will learn how to engage the audience with conviction, expressing themselves clearly in English. LSI will provide guidance and feedback to help enhance students' overall delivery, ensuring that their message is conveyed with impact and professionalism. Throughout the programme, they will also learn valuable strategies to enhance their stage presence.
Overall, you will learn how to organise and structure presentations in English, techniques to improve pronunciations, fluency, and delivery, methods to increase stage presence and reduce anxiety and lastly to gain real-time feedback to refine your performance.
This course includes 10 afternoon lessons per week in small classes with a maximum of 5 students. This programme can be booked on its own or alongside a morning 20-lesson courses such as General 20, Exam Preparation 20, Academic English 20, or Business English 20. The course will last up to 4 weeks and have a choice of multiple start dates per year*. The minimum level required is Intermediate and the recommended level is B2+. You must be a minimum of 16 of age to take this course. This programme can be studied in either London Central, Toronto, New York and Auckland.
