Accommodation Options at LSI
We understand the importance of a comfortable and safe place to stay whilst you are studying at LSI. Finding your own accommodation can be a confusing and frustrating experience. With a good knowledge of the local areas, our accommodation officers are well placed to help you find the right accommodation to meet your needs and budget. In addition, we inspect our accommodations regularly to ensure a good standard of comfort and cleanliness. Occasionally during high season, LSI may use accommodation agencies to place students.
For independent students, our hostel or student residences may be the best options. Whereas for others, the support and home environment offered by our homestay providers has a strong appeal.

Similar to the residences, hostels offer a decent, hygienic standard of accommodation for low budgets. The main difference lies in the greater mixture of hostel residents. The hostels provide accommodation to travellers in addition to international students and as such hostel residents tend to be more transient. Hostels can include dormitory style accommodation as well as single or twin room options.
Flat shares and studios offer a mid-range price option for students who want complete independence. Shared flats can accommodate between 4 to 10 people in single or shared rooms, some with ensuite. Facilities vary but all flats have a shared kitchen and by and large communal lounges. In contrast studios are self-contained units for one or two people furnished with their own cooking facilities and bathroom. The studio option is generally more expensive but does afford students more privacy.
