LSI’s Medical English Group programme is designed to improve your general English while developing specialized skills! English is the language of the international medical community. You must know that strong communication skills are essential for doctors, nurses, medical students, and healthcare professionals working in international settings. LSI provides a Medical English programme which will not only improve your general level of English but will also improve your knowledge in the field of human biology, medical science, nursing, formal report writing and much more.

This programme is also designed to build your confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding English in a medical context. By the end of the course, you will be able to communicate more effectively with medical colleagues from around the world. This course will last up to 8 weeks, and it is recommended to a least pursue the course for 4 weeks. The start dates vary throughout the seasons: winter, summer, and fall. The classes welcome up to 5 students for personalised attention. During the week, there will be 10 medical English lessons. The minimum English level required is Intermediate. The afternoon medical English lessons can be combined with General English 20 classes in the morning. The course proposes a Mini Group Format, ensuring small class sizes and a focus on interaction, discussion, and real- world application. Modules can be adjusted according to the group’s interests or tailored upon request, allowing you to focus on the areas most relevant to your medical field or career path.
