LSI’s Aviation English Programme is designed for aspiring pilots, licensed pilots and Air Traffic Control Officers. This course teaches the language of airline pilots and covers all ground theory required for a CAA Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) or Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL). This course focuses on developing clear, confident communication in real aviation contexts and provides the ground theory required for both Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) and Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) exams. It is aimed at those needing ICAO Level 4 proficiency.
Take Off Your Aviation Career with English for Aviation
LSI provides an English for Aviation programme that covers topics such as Language and Communication in Aviation, Ground movements, runway incursions, meteorology and navigation, aviation law and licensing and much more. This programme is taken alongside General 20 (16.7 hours of group tuition).
Offered exclusively at LSI Auckland, this course is ideal for anyone preparing for international flight training, aviation exams, or seeking to improve their aviation-specific English language skills.
LSI Auckland works in partnership with Ardmore Flying School and Eagle Flight Training, offering students the opportunity to take instructor-led flight lessons or complete their PPL or CPL. Additional fees apply, and a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 is required for flight training enrolment.
A little reminder: you can enroll if you are a student who is planning to become a pilot, already licensed pilots preparing for the ICAO Language Proficiency Test, Air Traffic Control Officers needing English for international aviation communication and learners preparing for their CAA PPL or CPL exams.
