17 August 2020-11 September 2020
21 September 2020 - 16 October 2020

£1300 inclusive of the Cambridge assessment fee.

The online CELTA programme’s classes will be based around a timetable on London time : BST (UTC +1)
with 6 hours of teacher trainer led classes per day per day plus 2-3 hours of self study per day. Tutorials and one to one support will be offered throughout the course. There will also be 6 hours of observed teaching practice with 100% online students during the programme.

The course will be delivered primarily via Zoom and also sample a range of other online teaching platforms. Your learning will also be supported via our e-learning platform, E-LSI, Google Drive and a range of other online tools, so you will be learning about online English teaching by using the tools that students and teachers use every day.

Study online with us and you’re ready to start teaching - online or “offline”!

The course is designed for both native and non-native speakers of English with little or no teaching experience, and is 100% online and 100% practical introduction to the theory and methodology of teaching the English language. You will gain experience by observing LSI’s online classes around the world, observing other trainees and also, of course, teaching online yourself for the 6 hours of teaching practice included in the course.

Part of the programme is also comprehensive advice on how to find employment as a teacher once you have qualified. We also, naturally have links to and also have links to organisations who recruit teachers straight from CELTA courses, including LSI itself, which has schools around the world from Auckland to Vancouver.
