Computer Based Testing at Language Studies International London Central At LSI London Central we run regular testing sessions for the Cambridge FCE and CAE examinations WHEN WE HAVE SUFFICIENT NUMBERS OF APPLICANTS. These take place in our centrally-located building five minutes from underground stations and seven underground lines.

What levels are these exams?
These exams cover three CEFR levels each, depending on how well you do. See the table below.
What do they test?
The exams test your General English, in a range of skills including Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.
When do I get the results?
The results are available on-line 14 days after the exam date. Your certificate will be posted to you between 8 and 10 weeks after the exam date.
How long does the exam last?
We will ask you to be at the centre by 8:45am. You should expect that the exam will take most of the day.
Is it all done on the same day?
The FCE and CAE speaking component usually takes place a few days before the exam date.
When do I have to register?
The latest you can register is two weeks before the exam date. However, the exams fill up quickly, so try to book as early as possible. We can only confirm your place when you have paid in full.
How do I book?
The easiest way is to book online, by completing the book online form that you can find on the top left of this page.
What happens next?
Once you have paid we will confirm receipt of payment. About one week before the exam we will e-mail you a Confirmation of Entry which will contain all of the relevant information, including how to get your results.

What do I need to bring on the exam day?
You’ll need your valid passport and a pencil or a pen. You cannot bring any food or drink with you, except a bottle of water. You can download a full list of the exam day rules and regulations here.
