Brighton
Brighton's seafront and parks offer a huge range of sports and amusements, and the hills behind the town feature golf courses, riding stables and a horse-racing track as well as some beautiful walking routes.
The architecture affords some fascinating glimpses of the past, and the town is also an important cultural centre and a paradise for shoppers.
London and its many attractions can be easily reached by train. However you like to spend your free time there's always plenty to do in Brighton.
The School
Why not take a tour around LSI Brighton by watching our video below?Situated in a quiet residential area just 5 minutes walk from the beach, LSI Brighton is an elegant Victorian building with a garden, 7 bright classrooms and a learning centre with free internet access. The school is close to shops and the railway and bus stations allowing easy access to London and further afield ( see map of school location ).
In August, for those with young children we run a Summer Camp in Brighton. Your children can attend the Camp while you study at LSI.Our Social Organiser runs a weekly programme designed to make the most of your stay in Brighton. We arrange excursions in Britain and Europe, International Student Nights, parties and barbecues as well as trips to local pubs and night clubs.

The Courses
General and Examination Courses
Standard 20
A course with 20 lessons per week, covering all aspects of the language from pronunciation to grammar and vocabulary to practice in the four skills.
Intensive 30
Suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students follow a Standard 20 course in the morning, then intensify and consolidate the tuition in the afternoon classes.
Afternoon Course
A course with 10 lessons per week for students with at least an intermediate level of English. Classes are discussion based and are aimed at improving a student's fluency and pronunciation.
Plus Courses
One-to-One classes tailored to your needs, designed to supplement group courses.
English for Business Course
An afternoon option on the English language LSI Intensive 30 course, covering topics such as Banking and Stock Markets, Marketing and Advertising, Recruitment, Sales and Negotiating.
International School Year Intensive 30

International School Year Standard 20
20 lessons per week
An excellent opportunity to learn a new language, immerse yourself in a new culture and make friends from all over the world.
Family Course
This course is designed for families where the parents or older siblings wish to combine language study with a family holiday.
Study and Work Programme
For the first 4 weeks you study an LSI Intensive 30 course to increase your fluency and build confidence with the language. We then place you in a work experience position closely related to your career interests or educational background, allowing you to gain the skills and confidence to pursue your chosen career.

The Cambridge Examinations in English are recognised and highly regarded by English speaking universities and companies. At LSI we offer tailored courses to prepare for these examinations.
-First Certificate in English (FCE)
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Preparation
IELTS is a requirement for enrolment at universities and colleges in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Preparation for this exam is an afternoon option for the LSI Intensive 30 course.
TOEIC Preparation
This test is accepted by thousands of companies as evidence of proficiency in English in a business situation. Preparation for examinations is an afternoon option on the LSI Intensive 30 course.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Preparation
TOEFL is required by non-native speakers of English for admission to universities in the USA and Canada. Preparation for this test at LSI is an afternoon option on the LSI Intensive 30 course.

One-to-One
Individual tuition tailored to your needs. We offer 20, 30, 40 or 50 lessons per week.
9 Day Compact Course
A course of 82 or 92 One-to-One lessons over 9 consecutive days designed for those with exacting needs which must be met in a short time.
