Why LSI New York

Excellent location. LSI New York is located in a beautiful and historic building, designed by the architects who created the iconic Grand Central station. The school is the perfect place to learn English, being only blocks away from the One World Trade Center building in the fashionable district of lower Manhattan.
Exciting weekly social programme designed to introduce you to the city, make new friends, and complement your English language lessons. Our social programme activities are all led by our qualified LSI teachers.
Teachers are carefully selected to ensure you have a fully-qualified, experienced, friendly and helpful hand to guide you through your studies. We know our students by name and not by number.
LSI manages its own pool of homestays, ensuring the quality of accommodation. LSI is well known for providing excellent academic and social programming.

If you want a personal and interactive approach you should also consider the LSI Mini group course. Mini group courses include general grammar and skills. The focus on negotiations, presentations and meetings is relevant in business and non-business situations. It is an exciting alternative to LSI General 20 and Intensive 30 courses for more mature learners.

Individual language lessons

English for Public Speaking and Presentations

English for Public Speaking & Presentations course has been created not only to boost your confidence, but also to help you become more articulate in front of an audience. This 4-week programme is designed specifically or ESL learners at the B1+ level or higher.

This course consists of 10 lessons per week in small classeses with a maximum of 5 students. The afternoon classes can be taken in addition to General English classes in the morning, or independantly.

Online Individual Lessons

A minimum of 5 lessons is required.

These one-on-one sessions allow students to focus on their individual learning goals - whether it’s conversation skills, grammar, English for Business, French for Business, German for Business or other areas of interest.
